What a pleasure it was to stay in the Kores boutique house - Aspasia. I stayed the entire month of March in this unique and charming villa, tucked along the ancient ramparts of the city of Chania. It was quiet, clean, well equipped and had all the modern comforts. Tastefully renovated and decorated, this villa retains much of its historic character. The owners are a delight and very quick to respond to any request. The location is perfect for exploring the old quarter or harbour front of Chania, close to lots of tavernas, bars, cafes and markets. I highly recommend the Kores and I definitely will stay here again.

Chania’s old town at its best

Our stay in house Ekaterini certainly was one of the highlights of our trip in the west of Crete. A very warm welcome by Ioannis to a perfectly restored historic house right in the heart of old Chania, absolutely no traffic noise, lovely private court with large table (must be wonderful in summer), the upper bedroom (stairs !) opens to a nice terrace (sun in the morning) with breathtaking view over the roofs of the city to the mountains (snow topped in march) and to the see, nicely furnished interior, perfect heating system, good beds.

Everything about this holiday exceeded our expectations - the weather, the pretty town of Chania, the quality and value of the local restaurants, the friendliness of the people and, most of all, the beautiful house Ekaterini.

We arrived late and were met by the owners, who made us feel very welcome. The house itself is larger than the description suggests, and the separation between the main bedroom and roof terrace and the second bedroom and courtyard garden was ideal for a family with two teenagers who all valued having space of their own.

The house is finished very tastefully and to a high standard, and its location on the edge of Chania old town is ideal - even if this makes for a walk from the nearest point that taxis can reach.

All in all, one of the best holidays we have had. We can’t wait to go back!

Loved this place
This house was perfect for our stay in Chania. We were a group of 4 adults and there was plenty of room for us. The garden and the top floor patio were wonderful to have available to us - great to take in the outdoors in privacy. The location is excellent, everything is walkable but the street itself is very quiet. The design of the living quarters is really good. The bathroom renovation is really beautiful. Beds were comfy and the hosts, Yannis and Fani, were extremely helpful.

“Fantastic”
Wonderful house, beautifully appointed in excellent location in the centre of Chania, but cleverly situated so peaceful. The owners were charming and helpful, very kind even driving me to the doctors when I had a minor problem with a contact lens.

“Amazing Retreat in Chania, Crete”
My wife and I stayed in the villa for an amazing week in Chania. The Owners have furnished the villa with comfortable beds, AC, a wonderful bathroom, television, and Wi-Fi. The amazing parts of the villa are the two gardens - a roof garden and the private dining garden. The villa is tranquil, private, and great places to sun, eat, lounge, and read. The kitchen is small but functions great for simple meals- especially breakfast. Visitors will want to eat out and try some of the amazing restaurants in the old city. The location is convenient within the walled old city - free public parking is an easy 10-minute walk away. The owners are gracious hosts and makes sure you are very comfortable within the villa during your stay. We refer to the villa when we discuss our holiday as a little piece of paradise- great memories and we hope to return soon!
